This Summer,
treat your kids to an equine experience they’ll never forget.

Does your son or daughter love horses?

Why not nurture that love? We offer intensive riding weeks for students under 18 at all experience levels—not just for summer but also for spring and winter breaks.

Each day kids get to ride, both in the ring and through the woods. We also tailor activities to their experience level as well as age range. For example, if they are more experienced they might w!ork on jumping, while we teach newcomers walking and trotting on the lunge line.

Your child will have lots of fun making new friends (both two-legged and furry) while getting plenty of fresh air and exercise.

What your child will learn

We make sure activities are both fun and educational!
Activities include:

  • Bareback riding: No saddle required!
  • Games: Yes, on horseback.
  • Trail riding: Enjoying nature from horseback.
  • Horse care: Grooming, feeding, equipment care, and horse health.

At the end of the week, riders put on a horse show for parents and friends.

The atmosphere at Frog Hollow Farm is supportive and non-competitive. We’re all about having fun with horses safely!

Enrollment is limited to no more than 10 participants per session, to make sure each child gets careful supervision and one-on-one teaching.

Dressage4Kids Support Program

Perfect for children and youth who want to learn about dressage! This session is the week before the Dressage4Kids Youth Dressage Festival, so we will visit the show on Saturday. There will be lots of vendors, including many selling riding clothes if your child is ready for them.

If your child is interested in dressage and wants to show next year, plan on your child taking lessons during the school year as well—showing requires more than a week of summer program!
